These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TournaTek Discord bot, website, and related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement (at least 13, or older where required by local law) to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your password secure. Provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
When using the Service, you agree not to:
Tournament organizers and administrators may set rules, seed and balance teams, resolve disputes, override match results, and remove participants to keep events fair. Decisions made by administrators are final. We do not guarantee the availability, scheduling, or outcome of any tournament.
TournaTek offers a free tier and three paid subscription tiers billed monthly per Discord server. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By purchasing a subscription you agree to these Terms and Stripe's Services Agreement.
Plans and pricing (per server, per month):
Billing and renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically each month on the same date you first subscribed. You will receive a receipt by email from Stripe after each successful charge. If a payment fails, Stripe will retry your card automatically over approximately four weeks; your server remains on its paid tier during this grace period. If payment is not collected after all retries, your server is downgraded to the Free tier.
Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal linked from your subscription page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access to your paid tier until that date and are not charged again after cancellation.
Upgrades and downgrades. You may change your plan at any time through the billing portal. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds. All subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Because access to paid features begins immediately upon purchase, we do not issue pro-rated refunds for unused time in a billing period. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at tournatek@gmail.com within 14 days of the charge and we will review your request.
Taxes. Prices are listed exclusive of any applicable sales tax or VAT. Where required by law, applicable taxes will be calculated and added at checkout.
Account requirement. A subscription is tied to a specific Discord server for which you are an administrator. Subscriptions are non-transferable between servers.
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by TournaTek and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly permitted.
TournaTek is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Psyonix LLC, Epic Games, or Rocket League. "Rocket League" and related marks are the property of their respective owners and are used only to describe the games our tournaments are played in.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that data will never be lost.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TournaTek and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
